What does a dermatologist say about dry skin from continually washing your hands?
“Frequent hand washing is important but can be very hard on the skin. Alternating with a hand sanitizer can help when appropriate. Regardless, regular use of a moisturizer is extremely important to prevent skin irritation. I recommend applying a fragrance-free moisturizer all over your hands multiple times throughout the day, with an extra thick layer right before bedtime.”
